THOMAS PONT was granted mercy from suffering on 1-18-14 after a long-term battle with lung cancer.He was predeceased in death by his father, Thomas W. Pont, his mother, Ines Zordan (Pont) Dearing and his brother Edward A Pont. He is survived by his sisters, Eleanor Arnold and Joan Bushy, his sister-in-law, Rita Pont and his nephews Fred, Wayne & Michael as well as his nieces, Darlene, Caroline & Danielle.He grew up with his siblings in CT and he served his country by enlisting in the Navy.Early in his life, he decided to head west to seek fortune and solitude.Private arrangements in memoriam will be made in CA at a later date and this will be his final resting place. May GOD rest his soul.
