Sharon Dahl, 78, passed away on Thursday, March 3, 2016 at the Sheridan Memorial Hospital from natural causes. She was born on August 15, 1937, in Deadwood, SD, to parents Margaret Kelly and Shelley Gurney. She attended Black Hills State College where she met and subsequently married Floyd Dahl of Deadwood, SD. They had three children, Deana (Dahl) Heck, Michael Floyd Dahl, and Alec Jay Dahl.Sharon was preceded in death by her two sons, Michael and Alec, her grandson Dustin, her mother Margaret Kelly and her father Shelley Gurney. She is survived by her daughter Deana (Ervin)Heck, of Madrid, IA, son, Shane Minard, of TN, her sisters Sara Silla and Rosie Fehring of Sheridan, WY, and Coleen Eisele of Spotted Horse, WY. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren and five great grandchildren.Sharon lived in different places, but she loved Sheridan and considered it home.A Graveside Service will be held at 2:00 on Monday, March 7, 2016, in the Sheridan Municipal Cemetery with Reverend Kevin Jones officiating.Kane Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.
