Dr. Jerome (Jerry) Lawrence Kremer was born on March 30,1933 to Lawrence and Genevieve Kremer on a farm new Iona, Minnesota. He passed away on May 2,2024 at Sheridan Memorial Hospital with his wife at his side.

A few years after his birth his parents moved to Wells, Minnesota. It was here that he grew up. He graduated from Wells High School in May of 1951. He played basketball and football in High School. He also worked with at his Father’s paint shop painting houses. After a year at the University of Minnesota, he was drafted into the Army to serve during the Korean War. He was stationed in Korea and Japan during his service. He was very proud of his service to his country and proudly displayed the American flag every day. After his honorable discharge from the Army he returned to the University of Minnesota majoring in pre-medicine.

In 1955 he married Beverly Loveless and they had six children. After graduation from Marquette Medical School, Jerry joined a clinic in Montevideo, Minnesota with two other physicians where he practiced Family Medicine for the next 12 years. In 1976 after a divorce, he joined a Family Practice Clinic in Waseca. Minnesota.

On October 1, 1977 he married Sharon Barnaal and they moved to Helena, Montana. He joined a very successful Family Practice Clinic and worked there for 17 years. During this time, he and Sharon had a small cattle and Quarter Horse ranch. In 1994, Jerry retired from his medial practice and they moved to Ranchester, Wyoming. They opened Western Treasure Gallery and Gifts in Ranchester until 2008 when he decided to fully retire. He enjoyed hunting (getting an elk at ages 88 and 89), fishing, faceting gemstones, woodworking, playing poker with his fellow veterans and drinking coffee and solving the worlds problems, as he put it, with his buddy Dean Wood.

He is preceded in death by his parents, brothers Don and Steve and sister Carol. He is survived by his wife of 46 hears Sharon. Three daughters, Dr. Lynne Pedersen (Clint) of Broadus, Mt., Ann Kremer of Vancouver. Wa., Dr. Susan Kremer of Portland, Ore. Five sons, Les of Billings, Mt., David (Tracy) of St. Paul. Mn.. Tom (Rachael) of Duluth, Mn., John and Tom of Minneapolis, Mn. Brothers: Lee (Jan) of Dayton, Wy., Gene of Duluth, Mn., sister Kathy Strand of Sarasota, Fl. Brother-in-Law Howard Thielen of Granite Falls, Mn., Sister-in-Law Shirley Kremer of Apple Valley, Mn., Friend Dean (Joan) Wood of Parkman, Wy. Grandchildren: Dr. Adrienne Godschalx of Portland, Ore., Sever Kremer and Soren Kremer of Minneapolis, Mn., Holly Loveless of Portland, Ore, Numerous nieces and nephews, grands and great grands. Many friends and fellow veterans.

A Celebration Of Life will be at the Ranchester Community Church on Friday, June 7, 2024 at 11:00 am with Military Honors with a reception to follow. Inurnment will take place in the Dayton Cemetery following the reception.
