William F. Gosch

William Frederick Gosch, 91, was called home to the loving arms of his Savior, on August 16th. “Wil” as he prefered, was born August 9, 1928 in Sheridan, to Christian and Anna (Kostel) Gosch. He married the love of his life, Marian (Harvey) Gosch in 1950, and became the best father any five children could hope for.Wil was a lifetime member of the NRA, and was a proud American. After school he went to work with his father in his small masonry business, he then went on to work at the VA Hospital where he later retired. Wil was a talented marksman, hunter, fisherman, and a lover of camping from his youth. He loved spending time with his family, and loved to be at the lake, in the mountains, or just outdoors any time he could. The home that he shared with Marian over the past six years continued to give him an awesome view of his beloved Bighorn Mountains. Rest well sweet Husband, Papa, Grandpa, Brother…Wil is preceded in death by his parents, Christian and Anna (Kostel) Gosch; two brothers, George and Christopher Gosch; three sisters, Bernice Kinter, Marjorie Bolton, and Katherine Rathburn; and dear nieces and nephews.Wil is survived by his lovely wife, Marian, of 69 years; his five children; daughter Wilma Kildau, and son Chris Gosch both of Sheridan; daughter DeAnna Graves & husband David of Ajo, Az; daughter Patricia Hartford & husband Glen of Battle Mountain, Nv; and daughter Cindy Lopez & husband Jim of Albuquerque; his beloved sister Mary Ann Pitsch of Hardin; Grandchildren: Terra Wilhelm, Ray Kildau, Scott Sanders, Amy Hartford, Shawn and Catherine Hartford, and Nathan Hartford, and Heather and Dusty McDill. Eleven great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild, and many dear cousins, nieces, and nephews.A viewing will be at 9:00 am August 29, 2019 at the Immanuel Lutheran Church. A Service will follow at 10:00 am with Pastor Paul Cain officiating. Internment will follow at the Sheridan Municipal Cemetery.
