Trevor Jackson, 60, of Sheridan, passed away on Tuesday, November 14, 2023 in Sheridan. Trevor was born in Billings, MT on June 28, 1963 to Gordon and Carolyn Jackson. He attended Custer County High School in Miles City, MT graduating in 1981. He married Linda Campbell on June 27,1992.

Trevor attended Brown Institute of Broadcasting in Minneapolis, MN. His first radio job was in Douglas, WY. He then went on to a wonderful career in sports broadcasting at Sheridan Media for 35 years.

During this time he won numerous awards including Sportscaster of the year in play by play. In 2014 he was named the WY Sportscaster Of The Year in Salisbury, NC and then again in 2021in Winston Salem, NC where highlights included meeting Scott Van Pelt, Ernie Johnson and Charles Barkley.

As a youth he played baseball and as a teen in Legion Ball and finished as an American Legion umpire for over 20 years, doing state and regional tournaments. Of course his greatest enjoyment was fishing, sports, God and his church.

Trevor was preceded in death by his father Gordon Jackson and brother Joshua Jackson. He is survived by his wife Linda, his mother Carolyn Jackson of Billings, MT, and sisters Ashley Johnson of Billings, Mt and Cecily (Patrick) McDonald of Issaquah, WA as well as other family members and a world of friends too numerous to mention.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, November 20, 2023 at 11:00 am at the Trinity Lutheran Church with Pastor Phil Wold officiating. A reception will follow in the fellowship hall at the church. Inurnment will take place in the church's columbarium. In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to the Sheridan High School Booster Club, 1056 Long Dr., Sheridan, WY 82801.
