Theodore F. Hether
About:
Theodore Franklin Hether, 89, born December 3, 1933 in Brown City, Michigan to Nicholas and Loretta Hether, left this earth on Saturday, March 4, 2023 to join his parents and siblings Lawrence, Margaret, Leatha and Gene.
He worked and lived most of his life in Sheridan. In 1952 he met and married Beverly Swinyer. From this union was born a son Francis.
Ted retired from his job with Barker Brothers Trucking where he drove truck. He also worked for Kiewit for a short time.
Ted loved going back to Michigan and visiting with his family there. He had numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and his brothers and sisters that lived there.
Ted loved living in Sheridan and was often seen sitting on the benches on Main St. watching people in his tattered brown cowboy hat and boots. He took great joy in being told that he looked like Buffalo Bill Cody especially when he wore his leather fringed jacket.
He is survived by his son Francis (Marla) Hether, 3 grandchildren Corey Hether, Angelina Melville and Danielle Turk, 10 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great-grandchildren.
There will be no service per his request, he will be cremated and go to the mountains he loved so much this summer.
Francis and Marla would like to thank Big Horn Rehabilitation Center for the wonderful care they took with him while he resided there.
Kane Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.
