Thad Elliott Tyson, born September 18, 1978 to Theodore and Jean Tyson in Sparta North Carolina. Thad passed away on June 4, 2026 in Campo, Colorado.

The family moved to Wyoming where Thad started school in Tougue River school district. Thad left school early and received his GED shortly after leaving school. He worked at fast food and other cafe's but the longest employment was with the Cowboy Cafe as a cook for a number of years.

Having kidney problems and having to undergo dialysis three times a week he had to give up his job. He had a kind heart and helped anyone that he could. His buddy these past years was his Terrier, Lilly Dog who never left his side.

He was preceded in death by his sister Patricia, his father Ted, and adopted brother Alex. He is survived by his mother Jean and stepfather Norm Anderson, brother Gerald Tyson and an adopted brother Ted.

Lilly the pup will dearly miss Thad.

A Celebration Of Life will be held on Saturday July 18, 2026 at 2:00 pm at the Ranchester Community Church, with Pastor Kent Dempsey officiating. A dessert reception will follow the service.

Champion Kane Funeral Home has been entrusted with local arrangements.
