Shelby Sears passed away on March 17, 2025, in his home, at the age of 48. Shelby was born in Sheridan, Wy on July 12, 1974. He graduated from Sheridan High School in 1994. Shelby owned Quality Lawn care for 33 years.

He started his business in high school and was so proud of his accomplishments. Shelby could always be counted on to show up when needed and do his very best. He was an incredibly hard worker. Shelby was known for his generous spirit and willingness to be there for his community, friends and family. With Shelby, you always knew his opinion. Shelby’s love for animals, particularly his four-legged kids, was a well-known aspect of his life.

He donated financially to the local animal shelters monthly. Shelby is survived by: his stepmom Cristine Sears of Sheridan, Silke Sears of Munich, Germany, Sabina Damone of Buffalo, WY, Shane Sears of Sheridan, 4 nieces and nephews, his beloved dogs. and a large circle of friends. Shelby was preceded in death by his father Dan Sears and mother Renate Sears. In lieu of flowers, please donate to your local animal shelter in Shelby’s name, honoring his deep love for animals. Shelby’s legacy will live on in the countless cherished memories he left behind.

A Celebration Of Life for Shelby will be held with a gathering of family and friends for a light breakfast reception ( which was Shelby's favorite ) on Saturday April 12, 2025 at Champion Kane Reception Room from 9:00 am - Noon. Located at 689 Meridian St, Sheridan, WY, 82801.

Champion Kane Funeral Home has been entrusted with local arrangements.
