Sharon Lee Leo, 77 passed away on March 17, 2019, with family by her side. Sharon was born June 24, 1941, to Winifred and William Woodhead in Sheridan, Wyoming. Sharon graduated from Sheridan High School in 1959. She was a member of Job’s Daughters where she enjoyed participating in drill team and square dancing. She worked as a carhop for the A&W drive-in hamburger stand where she met the love of her life and husband of 60 years, Jim Leo. She and Jim made their home in Sheridan where they raised four children. She worked for Skyline Theater, Coffeen School, Bi-Rite Drug Store, and Bino’s Grocery. Her main focus was always her family. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She loved art, history, trivia, genealogy and social media. She has nearly 10,000 Pinterest followers and could beat anyone on Jeopardy! She also had a great love for her doggy daycare and her granddogs.Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, William and Winifred Woodhead. She is survived by her sister, Wanda (Mike) Sloan, her husband, James Leo Sr., 4 children, Debra (Greg) Pfau, James J. Leo, Jr., Robert (Shirley) Leo and Tamara (Ward) Jelly. She adored her 13 grandchildren: Summer (Jim) Wasson, Charlie (Andrew) Pfau, Sarah (Ron) Richter, Paxton (Raven) Dahlin, Alex Dahlin, Jace Dahlin, Jacob Leo, Sean Leo, Meghan Rubidge, Kendra Leo, Dayna Leo, Kirk Jelly and Jesse Jelly. She was also blessed with 4 great-grandchildren, Mikayla Romney, Bailey Wasson, Nolan Rubidge and Cadyn Floyd as well as many cherished nieces, nephews, and cousins.Sharon’s family would like to thank the caring, compassionate nurses and aides at Westview Healthcare Center and especially her sweet roommate and friend, Jo Hubbell, whose friendship made the rough days more bearable.Sharon has requested a private family celebration of life in the Big Horn Mountains where she enjoyed fishing and camping as a child.In lieu of flowers, please make donations in her name to the Sheridan Dog and Cat Shelter or the Montana Special Olympics.Kane Funeral Home has been entrusted with local arrangements.
