Rosa "Rosie" Lee Curtis, 86 of Sheridan Passed away recently leaving a legacy of compassion and as the heart of her family was Born October 5, 1939, in Sheridan, Wyoming to Charles and Marguerite Sayer, Rosie was a lifelong resident who found her greatest joy in caring for others.

On July 3, 1959, she married Roland E. Curtis. Together they raised four children. Rosie was well-known for her dedicated heart, taking immense pride in operating a care home for the elderly out of her personal residence. An avid lover of the outdoors, she spent her happiest moments gardening, fishing, and camping in the mountains. She was a talented embroiderer who cherished her family and her many beloved pets.

Rosie is survived by her children, Connie Taylor, Thomas Curtis and Bennie Curtis; siblings Goldie Sims, Carl and Vernon Sayer; and grandchildren Jeremy, Nick, and Shane Taylor, Shannon Bennet Cameron and Brandon Buckley, Ramon Soto, Jennifer Hanes, and Adam Curtis.

She was preceded in death by her parent's Charles and Marguerite Sayer, husband Roland, daughter Vicki Shanor, and brothers, Larry and Gary Sayer.

Services are planned for the summer of 2026.
