Ronald Chesly Noell, Jr., passed away on Tuesday, March 17, 2020, while snowshoeing in the Big Horn Mountains. Ron was born to Ronald Sr. and Delilah Hennrietta (Hathaway) Noell on October 18, 1964, in Ft. Hood, TX. Ron was raised in Artesian, SD. Ron married Gale Irene White September 2004, in Jamacia. They have one son, Logan Mathew born January 27, 2006 in St. Louis, MO. Ron was employed by Boeing, working on F-18 jets for over 30 years in St. Louis.Upon early retirement, Ron and his family left St. Charles, MO and moved to Dayton, WY in April 2019.His interests were collecting guns. He really enjoyed Harley Davidson motorcycles. The Dayton community welcomed Ron and his family with open arms. Ron gave so much to the town in a short time. He helped neighbors, could fix anything, had a great knowledge of technology, and made friends easily. Ron loved the Big Horn Mountains. He loved being there in all seasons. He hiked, took his son skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing, hunting, fishing, and had plans to hike Cloud Peak this summer.He is preceded in death by his father, Ron Noell, Sr. Survivors include his wife and son of Dayton, mother-in-law Sandra Hersey, several cousins in WY and SD, along with other extended family.In lieu of flowers, donations are accepted for a college fund at Bank of the West for Ron\'s son, Logan.Cremation has taken place. A memorial service to be held in Datyon, WY will be determined at a later date.Kane Funeral Home has been entrusted with local arrangements.
