Bob was born to Andy Andrews and Lorene Bell, on October 14, 1954, in Pioche, Nevada. A devoted husband, loving father, proud grandfather and great-grandfather, cherished brother, and friend, Bob was a man whose legacy of hard work, adventure, and kindness will be remembered by all who knew him.
Bob spent his life surrounded by family, friends, and the great outdoors. He was preceded in death by his cherished wife, Linda Andrews, and his brother, Bill Andrews. Though he felt Linda's absence profoundly, he honored her memory by nurturing his love for his family and pursuing his passions. In his later years, he shared a special bond with Cindy Schneider, who brought joy and companionship into his life.
A masterful diesel mechanic, Bob was known for his dedication, skill, and an instinctive talent for problem-solving. In his career, he earned the respect of those he worked with and took immense pride in his craft.
Beyond his work, Bob was an extraordinary outdoorsman who found peace and joy in nature. As an accomplished fly fisherman, he spent countless hours casting his line and passing on his skills to others. An avid hunter, especially in archery, he was drawn to the challenges and beauty of the hunt. Bob treasured the wilderness, sharing his love and respect for it with his family.
Bob was a devoted motorcyclist who embraced the thrill of the open road. He treasured the many rides he took with friends and family, creating unforgettable memories and stories to be shared for years to come.
Bob is survived by his beloved sister, Margie Celaya, by his children, Justin Andrews and Sarah Andrews, Dana Weiss, Nicole Weiss and Nathan Weiss. He was a devoted grandfather to his grandchildren, and a proud great-grandfather.
A celebration of Bob’s life will be held on November 1, 1:30pm at the Eagles.
Bob’s spirit, love of family, and legacy of adventure will remain forever in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
