Phyllis A. Legoski passed away June 11, 2015 at Sheridan Manor. She was 91. She was born; Philomina Amelia, October 4, 1923, in Kleenburn, WY, to Mary (Debiniok) & Anton Aksamit. August 11, 1940, she married Joseph A. Legoski in the Monarch Catholic Church. They had 3 daughters: JoAnne, Jeanne & Lori. She was a homemaker & helpmate beside her husband, Joe, who was a ranch foreman for the Fryberger, Bar 13, and Walt Peter\'s ranches. In 1972 they retired from ranching and moved to \"town\", where she worked for the Senior Center for 10 years. She served as an election judge (pollworker), was a 4-H leader, and was a member of the B.P.O. Does. An avid gardener, she also was a \"master canner\" passing down these skills 3 generations. She enjoyed sewing, reading, garage sale-ing, and of course, her dogs, who went everywhere with her. Above all, she felt time spent with family was one of lifes greatest rewards. Preceding her in death: her parents, 8 siblings, husband: Joe, daughters: JoAnne Prophet & Jeanne Mayer. She is survived by daughter: Lori Legoski, Sheridan, 4 grandchildren: Jodilee Prophet, Sacramento, CA, Bonnie Prophet (Robert), Sacramento, CA, Shelly Jo Mayer Larsen (Eric), Santa Rosa, CA, & Tony and Trish Mayer, Reno, NV, 6 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces & nephews/great nieces & nephews. Cremation has taken place and a celebration of her life is planned for next summer & will be posted.
