‍Penny Jo Shreve Russell, 74, of Sheridan, passed away on Tuesday, May 7, 2019, at the Westview Health Care Center. She was born on February 3, 1945, in Sheridan, WY to parents John B. and Venos E. (Reno) Shreve. She graduated from Sheridan High School in 1963. Penny married Pat Russell on May 26, 1980. They had a son, Patrick.Penny enjoyed cooking, flower gardening, indoor plants and going for rides.Penny was preceded in death by her parents and sister. She is survived by her husband Pat, son, Patrick and grandchildren Patrick and Hailey.Memorials to honor Penny may be made to the Sheridan Dog and Cat Shelter, 94 East Ridge Road, Sheridan, WY 82801.A Celebration of Life will be held at 10:00 am on Tuesday, May 14, 2019, at the Bethesda Worship Center with Pastor Scott Lee officiating.Kane Funeral Home has been entrusted with local arrangements.
