Peggy Moody, age 93, a long-time resident of Sheridan and 4th generation Wyoming native passed away in her home on September 25th, 2019.She was born in Hyattsville, Wy on August 25th, 1926 to Sidney Nelson and Cecil Hollywood Nelson. Peggy began grade school at the Rock School House in Shell, Wy, where her mother was the teacher. Then finished grade school in Hyattville, Wy. She attended high school in Thermopolis, Wy graduating in 1944. After which she pursued a nursing career attending St. Pattrick\'s School of Nursing in Missoula, Mt. graduating in 1947.Peggy served as a very dedicated, compassionate caring nurse for 40 years.She enjoyed fishing, traveling, playing endless hours of cards and games and growing flowers. But most of all she enjoyed her family. A very dedicated loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and great- great grandmother.Peggy is survived by 6 children; 4 daughters: Treva Mayo, Denice Reindl, Nancy Lohmiller, and Margaret McWilliams. Two sons: Maurice Moody and Leveston Moody. And her legacy: 22 Grandchildren, 28 Great Grandchildren, and 3 Great Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her mother, father and one brother(Jack Nelson). Also 2 grandchildren: Jennifer Lohmiller and Bode Moody and one Great Grandchild; Chaz Ready.
