Patrick A. Dowdy, 90, of Sheridan, passed away on Tuesday, May 29, 2018, at the Sheridan Memorial Hospital.Patrick was delivered by a mid-wife near Hudson, CO, on August 1, 1927, born to Will and Ada Dowdy. He married Estelene Campbell on September 22, 1950, at Brighton, CO. To this union two sons were born, Rickey Wayne and Randall Dean.Patrick is survived by his sons Rick (Carolynn) Dowdy of Sheridan, WY, Randy (Christine) Dowdy of Douglas, WY, granddaughter Danette (Gary) Hall, great grandchildren, Evan and Alexis of Montgomery, TX, a brother, Jim Dowdy of Thermopolis, WY, and sister Lola (Stan) Cordingly of Thermopolis, WY.At Patrick\'s request, no services will be held. Inurnment will be at the Black Hills National Cemetery.Kane Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.
