Patricia A. Bennett, 69, of Sheridan, passed away on Sunday, November 3, 2013 at the Sheridan Memorial Hospital.Patty was born on June 11, 1944 in Brooklyn, NY to parents Ernest Joseph and Dorothy Patricia (Colston) Hladky. She married Darrell Bennett on November 2, 1964 in Rapid City, SD. She lived most of her life in Cheyenne, WY, moving to Sheridan in 2006 to be close to her daughters and grandkids.Patty worked as a Real Estate Broker for 40 years. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, her cats, dogs and horses and old movies. Most of all she loved her family and spending time with her grandchildren.Patty was preceded in death by her parents, brother, James Hladky, and a niece, Tammy Hladky. She is survived by her husband, Darrell, her daughters, Michele(husband, Bart Brennan) Bennett, Dianna (husband, Kyle Sampson) Bennett, siblings, Mike (Judy) Hladky of Gillette, WY, Peggy (Mike) Mahoney of Casper, WY, sister in law, Susan Hladky of Gillette, WY, her grandchildren, Ashley, Alex, Bailey, Gregg, Cole, Jackson and Tristan, along with her numerous furry friends.A Celebration of Life for Patty will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, November 11, 2013 at Kane Funeral Home with Pastor Doug Goodwin officiating. A Reception will follow immediately in the Kane Reception Hall.In lieu of flowers, Memorials to honor Patricia may be made to the Sheridan Dog and Cat Shelter at 84 East Ridge Road, Sheridan, WY 82801.Kane Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.
