Pamela Cheri Andrea Bridger, age 72, loving mother to Rebecca Marie Bridger,and honoring wife to Richard Charles Bridger passed away with family by her side on Thursday, April 4th 2024.
Pamela was born on November 5, 1951, in Billings, Montana and grew up in Colstrip, Montana with her mother, Ina Maria Lang, father Sherman Phillip Lang and sister Carla (Lang) Kjar. Pam moved to Sheridan,Wyoming her senior year attending Sheridan High School as a member of the graduating class of 1970. Pam was also a graduate of the Sheridan College Nursing Program and started her work in a nursing home at Eventide. From there she accepted a job to serve war veterans at the Sheridan VA Medical Center as a psychiatric nurse with an accomplished career of 36 years. On July 26, 1986 she married her husband Rich. Together they enjoyed 37 years of marriage and adopted their daughter Becky in 1995. Motherhood was her pride and joy. As a mother she was kind, spunky, caring, and patient.
Influenced by her family, Pam loved to host and entertain, welcoming others into her home with open arms and a delicious meal. Pam was an active member of Beta Sigma Fi and recognized as a legacy member of Chapter AM P.E.O following in her mother’s footsteps. Pam was a professional artist who expressed herself through water color, acrylic, and oil painting. In her free time she volunteered for Sagebrush Community Art Center and could occasionally be caught downtown shopping. Pam will be remembered for her free-spirited nature, her love for animals & coffee, her passion for helping others, and most of all, her profound faith in God. To know her was to love her. May the joy of her radiant light continue to shine in all of us.
She is predeceased by; mother, Ina M. Lang; father, Sherman P. Lang; and her brother in law, Palle Kjar.
She is survived by; husband, Richard C. Bridger; daughter, Rebecca M.Bridger; son In law, Gabriel C. Dahmke; sister, Carla (Lang) Kjar,sisters in law; Barb Bridger, Linda Sanchez; brother in law, JayBridger, and her cherished nieces and nephews.
Please join us in celebrating the extraordinary life of Pamela C. Bridger on Thursday, April 18th at Holy Name Catholic Church. A Rosary will be held at 10:30 am, with services to follow at 11:00 am. The reception will be at the parish hall culminating with a burial at the Sheridan Municipal Cemetery.
Pam and her family have requested that donations be made in memory of Pam Bridger to Cottey College as a Legacy member of Chapter AM P.E.O.
