‍Mitzi M. Weber was born January 27, 1932 to Dr. Ernest G. Vedova and Marie (Jacoby) Vedova in Roundup, Mt.. She died October 1st, 2019 and went to be with her husband and two deceased children- a desire she cherished the last couple years.  She attended St. Benedict’s elementary school in Roundup and graduated from Roundup High School. Mitzi graduated from Colorado Women’s College in Denver and became a Registered Nurse upon graduation from Montana State College and began her career at Deaconess Hospital, Billings in June of 1954.  Mitzi was united in marriage to James H. Weber on February 27, 1954 in Roundup, Mt. They lived in Billings until January 1962, when they moved to Sheridan and Jim joined what is currently known as Valley Motor Honda. They raised a family of four sons and four daughters and when the youngest was old enough, Mitzi rejoined her nursing career at Sheridan Manor. She also was one of the very first nurses to serve in Hospice care, which she did for several years and thoroughly enjoyed those interactions.  Mitzi was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Robert and one daughter, Julie Treitler; and most recently her husband Jim.   Mitzi is survived by three sons; Dick (Louann), Sheridan; Ken, Sheridan; Tom (Julie), Clearmont; and three daughters; Karen Olson (Steve), Montrose, Co.; Lynn Weber-Loe, Sheridan; Patty Cox (Russ), Sheridan; son-in-law, Dr. Mike Treitler, Santa Fe, NM., thirteen grand children, nineteen great grand children and a sister, Rose Marie Nicholson.   Memorials to honor Mitzi may be made to Meals on Wheels, c/o The Hub, 211 Smith St., Sheridan, WY 82801.   A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, October 9, 2019, at Kane Funeral Home with Pastor Brad Keremensek officiating. A reception will follow in the Kane Reception Hall. Inurnment will be held in the Sheridan Municipal Cemetery following the reception.Kane Funeral Home has been entrusted with local arrangements.
