Milo Whitehead

MiloDon Whitehead passed away quietly and peacefully on Friday, November 17, 2023.
Milo was born on August 10, 1956 to Orville Whitehead and Della Eva(Gledhill) Whitehead in Roosevelt UT. Milo was the youngest of 7 children. Milo graduated from Union High School in Roosevelt, UT.
He then attended the College of Eastern Utah for 2 years on a basketball scholarship. After which he served a Spanish speaking mission to Fresno, CA. He then graduated with a degree in electronic engineering from the University of Utah in June of 1981.
On December 18, 1980 Milo married Lynette Smith. They are blessed with 4children and 13 grandchildren. Milo was an avid scouter and excelled in his career as a research and development electronic engineer. He loved watching basketball and football. Milo was a kind and gentle father.
Milo is survived by his wife, Lynette; his children Eric (Annie Mortensen), Benjamin, EvaLyn (Kyle Jennings) and Lydia; his grandchildren Faith, Alex, Maia, Keelee, Caleb, Jace, Zoe, Luke,Paizley, Emma, Emree, Izzy and Paige; his siblings Evone Birch, Wilma Johnson, Charles (Eileen), Alden (Peggy) and Jared (Kathryn) as well as many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents William Orville Whitehead andDella Eva (Gledhill) Whitehead, sister Marla Hartman, and niece Cathy Johnson.
Milo was respected and loved by all who knew him.
Funeral Services will be held for Milo in Taylorsville, UT, at The Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter Day Saints, 4986 S.Valois Dr. on Monday, November 27, 2023 with a public viewing at 9:00 am and service at 10:00 am. Interment will take place at the Elysian Burial Gardens, 1075 East College Street (4580 South) Millcreek, Utah. A reception to follow back at the church.
