Marlow “Moe” Allen Madson passed away Friday December 7, 2018 at his residence. Moe was the second son of Arnold and Mildred, he was born in Meeker County Minnesota, and moved to Seattle Washington in 1949.He attended a one room school house in Minnesota. It was a big change to move to Seattle, after which he graduated from Roosevelt High School. Later he started in the constructiontrade, and began his own business. He was such a hard worker and dedicated man.He met and married the love of his life Dorothy “Dottie” Schaut. They had three wonderful children. The family moved to Sheridan Wyoming in 1972. He worked for ABC builders for awhile and then started his own concrete business “Madson Construction”, which is still successfully operated by his son. Moe was a man who prided himself on quality and honesty.He had a sense of humor all his life, even through his last days, and was always smiling. He was a lifetime member of the Elks, and had a bowling team (Nite Owl league) winning 1 stplace. He loved being in the mountains fishing, hunting, camping, and being with his family. He served in the Washington National Guard for four years during the 1950s as a Sergeant. Moeloved Nascar, the Earnhardts, and the Seattle Seahawks.Moe and Dottie celebrated their 62 year anniversary in September. They loved to travel having gone to Hawaii, St, Thomas, Aruba and many other places. They loved Deadwood and always at CJs.He was preceded in death by his parents (Arnold and Mildred), three brothers (Arlen, Dean and Gary), a granddaughter (Amelia), and two great granddaughters (Laelynn and Brighym). He issurvived by his wife Dottie, daughters Lavon “Vonnie” (Dave) Coleman, Sheridan; Karen (Paul) deMeurisse, Poulsbo Washington; son Chris (Tammie) Madson, Sheridan; two grandsons Jarrod(Jay) and Ryan Blanchard; three granddaughters Heather Jaros and Allie Madson, Sheridan; Grace deMeurisse, Poulsbo Washington; three great grandchildren David Blanchard, SkyleurPeterson, and Ashlynn Jaros.Celebration of his life will be held at Kalif Shrine Center at 2 pm on Wednesday, 12/12/18. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Senior Center and Kalif Shrine Children fund.He will be greatly missed.
