Marjorie May Halvorson, 91, of Sheridan, WY, went to be with the Lord on July 31, 2018. She was born March 13, 1927, to Myrtle and Harry O. Thompson in Fairbury, Nebraska. Marjorie loved to travel, was a talented artist, enjoyed volunteering and made new friends everywhere she went.Marjorie was preceded in death by her parents, her daughter, Mary, and her 3 sisters. Marjorie is survived by her children, Jim (Kim) Huss of Casper, WY, Nancy Roumell of Highlands, TX, Steve (Bobbi) Huss of Casper, WY, Dave (Kathy) Halvorson of Mesa, AZ, Julie Halvorson of Sheridan, WY, 11 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.Services will be held at a later date.In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to your favorite Veterans organization.Online condolences may be written at www.kanefuneral.com.Kane Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.
