Maribeth Harrison Rose, 95, of Sheridan, passed away on Saturday, November 5, 2016, at the St. Vincent\'s Hospital in Billings, MT. She was born on September 10, 1921, in Omaha, NE, to parents William Henry and Mary Elizabeth (Newton) Harrison.Maribeth attended Indiana University and received her Masters of Education from Montana State University. She married Gordon Williams in July of 1942, in Dayton, WY, with children, Ben, Lynda and Tom, she married Walter Brewer in 1949, and moved from Banner, WY, to Powderville,  MT, with children Margaret, Miriam, Walter and Lee, then she married Forrest Rose in 1985 in Scottsbluff, NE.Maribeth enjoyed the Big Horn Mountains, spending time at her cabin, reading, growing wild orchids in her greenhouse, painting wild flowers of the Big Horns, traveling all seven continents and photography. She wrote and had published six magazine articles. She was a Kappa Kappa Gamma, member of the Daughters of the American Revolution and the Unitarian Church. Maribeth was preceded in death by her parents, sons, Benjamin Tex Williams and Harrison Lee Brewer, daughter, Margaret Mary Brewer Schwab, granddaughter, Angela Buchholz and brother W.H. Harrison, Jr. She is survived by her children, Lynda Buchholz of Logan, MT, Tom  (Verna) Brewer of Broadus, MT, Miriam “Beth” Brewer of Sheridan, WY, Walter T. Brewer of Miles City, MT, sister in law, Betty Harrison of Sheridan, WY, nine grandchildren, James Buchholz, Jr., Robert William Buchholz, Dawn Buchholz, Matthew Annalora, Bethany Schaffer, Luke Brewer, Ben Brewer, Ty Brewer, Jenny Brewer and eight great grandchildren.A Visitation will be held on Monday, November 14, 2016 at 9:30 a.m. with Funeral Services to follow at 10:30 a.m. at Kane Funeral Home with Pastor Tom Herzog officiating. Private family interment will be held in the Sheridan Municipal Cemetery.Kane Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.
