Linda G. Depaoli, 70, of Sheridan, passed away on Thursday, December 21, 2017, at the Sheridan Memorial Hospital.Linda was born on January 23, 1947 to Edward and Laura (Rosenthal) Ginsburg in Reno, Nevada. She grew up in Reno and graduated from the University of Nevada.  Linda later obtained her Master’s Degree in Education. Linda married the love of her life John A. Depaoli on June 20, 1971 in Reno.  Linda and John’s hearts were always dedicated to their family, and they lovingly raised their two children, Phillip and Laura.  Linda was always there for her family every step of the way in life.  Her unwavering support and love was a testament of her loving heart.Linda was a loving mom, grandma, friend, and teacher.  Her huge heart and generous soul were felt by all those she knew. Linda genuinely cared for others and was always willing to help in every way possible. She loved her children and grandchildren beyond measure.  She never missed an opportunity to be with the people she treasured most.  Linda had a special connection with her grandchildren, and they loved her with all of their hearts. All those who knew Linda saw that her love for her grandchildren was extraordinary and unique.  Her grandchildren were her world, and they were so fortunate to be embraced by her selfless love.As an educator for over 35 years, Linda made a significant difference in children’s lives.  She was a natural teacher both in and out of the classroom. She taught by example and her passion inspired both students and teachers alike.  Her smile could light up a room, and that twinkle in her eye kept everyone on their toes! She represented life and everything that truly matters. She set an example by living each day to its fullest, and her impact was beyond measure.  Her students adored her spunky and vivacious personality that made learning fun. Everyone who had the honor to work alongside her remembers her contagious laughter and hilarious personality.  Children were instantly connected to her loving and motivating way of inspiring them to be their best.  Linda will always be remembered as someone who made a difference in so many lives. Linda was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, John A. Depaoli. She is survived by her children Phillip John Depaoli of Fernley, NV, Laura Lynn (Joshua) Smith of Sheridan, WY, her brother Roger (Gayle) Ginsburg, her sister Terry (Bruce) Juhola, her nieces Leslie Connors and Alex Ostler, her nephews Greg Ginsburg and Tyler Juhola, and her four grandchildren Katelynn Kintzi, Zachary Kintzi, Lauren Smith, and Noah Smith.Memorials to honor Linda can be made to the Linda Depaoli Memorial Fund.  Please make checks payable to Laura Smith at PO Box 966, Sheridan, Wyoming 82801, to purchase a memorial bench and help fund science education.A viewing will be held from 4-5 p.m. Wednesday, December 27, 2017 at Kane Funeral Home.  Services for Linda will be held on Thursday, December 28 at First Baptist Church with Pastor Chuck Gifford officiating. A reception will follow at Sagebrush Elementary School. Entombment will be in the Mountain View Mausoleum in Reno, NV.     Kane Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.
