Karen J. Shanor, 79, of Ranchester, died on Saturday, April 16, 2016 at the Sheridan Manor.Karen was born on May 25, 1936, in Sheridan, WY to Joseph and Doris (Nottingham) Sells. She married Phillip Shanor on January 7, 1953 in Sheridan, WY. Together they raised their children.Karen enjoyed camping, fishing, hunting, cooking, the Big Horn Mountains, anything outdoors, and she especially loved her family, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.Karen is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Phillip, son Joe Shanor, daughter Terry Eastes, grandson Steven Shanor, great-granddaughter Bethany Shanor. She is survived by her son Steven (Sherrie) Shanor of Ranchester, WY, daughter, Robin Sullivan of Bozeman, MT, four grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
