Ida K. Cichonski, 82, passed away on Monday, October 21, 2013. Ida was born on December 11, 1930 in Kleenburn, WY to parents Paul and Eva (Chesler) Washut.Ida married Walter Cichonski, her longtime friend, companion and love on December 15, 1951. They were married 62 years and had renewed their vows three years ago.Ida lived in the times of the coal mine where she worked different jobs. After marriage she was a homemaker and raised three children. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, baking, and spending time with family and friends. She was a member of the Eagles and VFW.Ida is preceded in death by her parents, and nine siblings. She is survived by her husband, Walter, children, Delores Lundy of Richland, WA, Marce Staudinger of Sheridan, WY, Janice Cichonski (Louis Murphy) of Sheridan, WY, and Jack (Stella) Cichonski of Park, KS, her brother, Richard Washut of Manson, WA, her grandchildren, Kristen Peterson and Amanda Cichonski, and great grandkids, Tyler Peterson, Jake Peterson, Alex Cichonski, Toby Cichonski and Beth Cichonski.Per her request, no services will be held.Online condolences may be written at www.kanefuneral.com.Kane Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.
