Homer E. Voogd, Jr., 83 years young left us Tuesday, February 25, 2020. He was born on June 23, 1936, in Banner, WY to Homer Sr. and Jessie Voogd.Homer grew up in Sheridan along with his 2 brothers, Stan and Earl. After he attended Sheridan High School he joined the Air Force. When he returned home he married Kathleen Harrison. They had 2 sons, Michael and Todd. She passed away in 2006. Homer worked for the VA 38 years, Pepsi Cola, Sheridan School District 18 years, and roofing. He loved his grandchildren and great grandchildren, fishing, fourwheeling in the mountains and rock hunting. He was a great man and will be greatly missed.A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, March 7, 2020 at the Calvary Baptist Church.Kane Funeral Home has been entrusted with local arrangements.
