Frances Rae Brewster, nee Switzer, was born in Sheridan Wyoming in 1931 to the family of Wayne and Esther Switzer. She was the 8th of nine children. She showed an early aptitude for music and played piano and sang beautifully for most of her life. She married Donald Hayes Brewster in 1953 and gave birth to four daughters: Donna Dixon, Story Wyoming; Mary Jean Brewster, Iowa City Iowa; Elizabeth Brewster, Wexford Ireland, and Prudence Brewster, Sebastopol California.

She's also survived by three grandchildren Taylor Dixon, Fort Lauderdale Florida; Ted Dixon, Anacortes Washington; and Alex Brewster, Chicago Illinois.

All of her children are living. She is also survived by her sister and brother, Bill Switzer, 93, and Nancy Haynos, 90, as well as many nephews, nieces, great nephews, and great nieces. Special thanks to Terry and Bill Hamilton and Nancy Haynos for the beautiful care they gave in the last 3 years of Frances's life. She'll be laid to rest in Sheridan Municipal Cemetery with her parents and brothers and sisters.

There will be a private family graveside service on Monday June 3, 2024, in the Evergreen Section of the Sheridan Municipal Cemetery.
