She was born February 18, 1946 to William Franklin King and Alice Fern (Anderson) King in Guernsey, Wyoming. She was brought into this world by a mid-wife. Eva was the fourth in line of six kids.
Eva married John Prado Sr. on October 14, 1964 and renewed their vows under the eyes of god on November 11, 1964 in the Catholic Church. She devoted her life as a stay-at-home mom. For Eva, her family was the most important to her. Spending time with family was everything. Especially being the mother of seven beautiful children and having each of them grow into unique individuals. Eva was a lovely, caring mother. She always tried to do what was best for herself as well as her family and loved ones. Eva truly lived for her family.
Eva always tended to have her hands busy. She enjoyed baking, cooking, gardening, canning, crocheting, needle point and making jewelry. She taught all her kids how to cook with handed down traditions such as tortillas and tamales. She could never be still for very long. She looked forward to vacations in Washington state and rock shows with John.
Eva loved to love people. She looked forward to gathering and reminiscing. Whether it be with family or friends she enjoyed each and every visit. Eva was a devoted wife, mother, and friend who always put others first before herself. Eva was known for her kindness and willingness to help anyone in need. We will miss her very much.
