View Service Folder|Click for Video Tribute On Sunday, July 7, 2019, Steve Roe passed away at Sheridan Memorial Hospital at the age of 70. Steve was born in Buffalo, Wyoming to Ralph and Marvel (Barnes)Roe on March 25, 1949. He attended Klondike grade school and Buffalo High School and graduated from Sheridan High School with the class of 1966.Steve married Dalene Fisher on May 29, 1967 and they raised three sons, Scott, Jeff, and Eric. Steve, along with sons, Jeff and Eric started Roetech LLC in 2001 and after a career of over 40 years in materials testing Steve retired to spend more time at the family cabin in the Big Horn Mountains. Steve had a passion for the Denver Broncos and never missed a game. He enjoyed watching his grandson, Nate play Bronc football and soccer, granddaughter, Ally play soccer, and grandson, Michael play hockey. Steve also loved old pickup trucks, hot rods, and the blues. His quick wit and sense of humor will be remembered by his family and friends forever.Steve is preceded in death by his father Ralph, mother Marvel, sisters Margie, Phyllis, and Barbara. He is survived by his wife Dalene of 52 years, sons Scott of Justin, TX, Jeff (Lori), and Eric and grandchildren Nate, Ally, and Michael, sisters Judy (Dave) Schreibies all of Sheridan, and Mary Lynn Lamberts of Rochester, New York. Also many nieces and nephews.Donations may be made in Steve’s name to Hospice of the Big Horns, P.O. Box 391, Sheridan, WY 82801.Please join Steve’s family and friends for a celebration of his life Saturday, July 20, 2019 at Kane Funeral Home at 10:00 AM followed by a brunch in the reception hall.Kane Funeral Home has been entrusted with local arrangements.
