Coral Mae Hudecek Shannon, 79, of Sheridan, peacefully passed away on Wednesday, July 13, 2016, at Sheridan Memorial Hospital, after suffering a brain aneurysm. Coral was born on December 21, 1936, to Wilford E. and Elda Mae (Patterson) Shuck in Lyman, NE.Coral enjoyed crocheting, embroidery, baking cookies, gardening, cheering the Broncos, and her extensive family.Coral was preceded in death by her parents, husband Bill, brothers Melvin and Gene, grandson Donavon and granddaughter Andrea. She is survived by her honey, Les Hudecek, her children Clayton (Sharon) Gillespie of Sheridan, WY, Genille (Donnie) Dobrenz of Ranchester, WY, Vicki (Ward) Cotton of Dayton, WY, Diane (Don) Emler of Wittenberg, WI, Cara (Rick) Levi of Sheridan, WY, Leslie Nelson of Atlanta, GA, Curtis (Rosa) Hudecek of San Antonio, TX, and Cheryl (Barry) Sodergren of Sheridan, WY. She is also survived by her siblings Larry (Donna) Shuck of Rapid City, SD, Shelly (Sam) Hubbard of Fallon, NV, twenty six grandchildren and thirty one great grandchildren.A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 16, 2016, at the First Baptist Church with her daughter Chaplain (MAJ) Leslie Nelson officiating.In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Sheridan Foster Parent Exchange, 1590 Sugarland Dr. Suite B, PMB 178, Sheridan, WY 82801 or the Tongue River Branch Library Children & #39;s Section at 145 Coffeen St., Ranchester, WY 82839.
