About:

Cecilia Ann Kuzara died gracefully in her home on 26 August, 2019 in Sheridan, Wyoming due to a rare, incurable, progressive disease. Cecilia was 77. She was fully cognizant andexemplified amazing resolve, strength and bravery. At the end, she was in the company of her husband, children and a devoted family friend. To die loved is to be dearly missed.Cecilia was born June 3, 1942 in Sheridan, WY as the second of six children of Sylvester (Cecil) and Anne Aksamit of Kooi, Wyoming. The family moved to Ranchester, WY where sheattended grade school through high school. She met her husband Richard (Dick) Kuzara at a dance in Ranchester and they were married in 1961. Upon Dick’s graduation from theUniversity of Wyoming, the family moved to various U.S. locations and lived for 5 years in Germany. Cecilia and Dick returned to their native Sheridan area in 1997 where they ownedand ran the local moving company and then retired.Through the years, Cecilia completed a number of college courses and achieved an associate degree in horticulture. She had many part time jobs including Avon selling, florist help, greenhouse nursery work, and Hallmark store clerking. She loved her plants and flowers, the birds, and the small critters.Cecilia was a devoted wife and mother, an excellent homemaker and cook with many old fashioned traits. She is survived by her husband, her daughter Deborah Bates (Jim) ofLittleton, CO and her son Byron (Farnaz) of West Linn, Oregon and their two daughters, Emma and Nora. She is preceded in death by her adventuresome, multilingual son Kevin. No services are planned. For any desired memorials, please help someone that is hungry or needy. Their marriage exemplified “to have and to hold … until death do us part” (with a fewrocky times). It is hopefully some comfort to one (my wife Cecilia) to know and to be told that you are loved when you are dying, but it also may cause that one to worry about loved ones remainingbehind.Kane Funeral Home has been entrusted with local arrangements.
