Audrey Thompson, age 94, died October 16, 2019 at Westview Health Care Center in Sheridan, WY.Audrey was born April 12, 1925, on Easter Sunday, In Forsyth, MT. Her parents were Evan D. McRae and Alice (Edwards) McRae. She started school at the McKay Country School on Rosebud Creek. She then finished and graduated high school in Forsyth, MT. She married Vernon Thompson on October 2, 1943 in Hardin, MT. They spent most of their lives in Montana. She listed her occupation as a homemaker and mother. Audrey had lived in Sheridan the past 27 years.Audrey was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two brothers, Evan McRae Jr.(Duke) and Malcolm (Mac) McRae and one sister, Carol Kimball. She is survived by 4 children, Ken (Barbara) Thompson of Whitefish, MT, Carol (Darrel) Hamilton of LaGrange, WY, Tim (Cindy) Thompson of Billings, MT, and Todd Thompson of Parker CO. Also, 12 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.Audrey was a member of the First Baptist Church in Sheridan and had studied with the Stephen Ministry.Services will be at First Baptist Church in Sheridan, Friday, October 25th at 1:00 pm with Pastor Brad Kremensek officiating. A Reception will follow at the church. Inurnment will be held at a later date in Montana.  Kane Funeral Home has been entrusted with local arrangements.
