“How lucky am I to have something that makes saying goodbye so hard.”Athen William Dexter, born to Tim and Mary Joe in Fort Collins, Colorado on December 29th, 1987 age 32, passed away on Sunday March 15th 2020 in Sheridan, Wyoming.Athen loved the outdoor activities caving with his good friends, wakeboarding with his brother Shadow and his father and just going on walks with his family. A true nerd at heart, starting at a young age from playing video games with his brother, there was no game he could not beat, and he would earn every achievement. He was a very influential person to many of his friends.He met the love of his life, Kelsey Owen soon after high school ended. They married each other August 15th, 2008. Soon after their marriage they had their first born, Ryker, and a few years later they had their second child, Scarlett. Athen and Kelsey shared 11 years in marriage by the time of his death.He is survived by his wife Kelsey, son Ryker, daughter Scarlett, his brother Shadow, his father Tim, and many friends.Kane Funeral Home has been entrusted with local arrangements.
