Alice Marie Overturf, 66 of Sheridan passed away at her home surrounded by her family, on Friday, September 15, 2017.Alice was born on August 21, 1951 to parents George and Lucille (Biever) Christenson in Wabasha, MN. She graduated from High School in Moose Lake, MN. She married Martin (Marty) Overturf on December 30, 1977 in Buffalo, WY. She worked at the VA Medical Center as a secretary for thirty one years.Alice enjoyed gambling, bingo, jewelry, and especially loved spending time with her family.Alice was preceded in death by her parents, daughter Michele Johnson, brothers; Bill Christenson, Jim Christenson, and Dan Christenson. She is survived by her husband Marty, daughters Amber Jensen of Sheridan,WY, Darla K. Wetsch of Colorada Springs, CO, granddaughter Brittney Jensen, great granddaughter Haylee Burk, brothers; Jack Christenson of Deluth, MN, Art Christenson of Moose Lake, MN, George Christenson of Plainview, MN, and Pete Christenson of Macoda, WI.Memorials to honor Alice can be made to the Sheridan Dog and Cat Shelter, 84 East Ridge Road, Sheridan, WY 82801.An Inurnment will be in the Sheridan Municipal Cemetery.Kane Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.
