View Service FolderAlice “Mickey” May Hyder Mickey Hyder, a mother, grandmother and great-grandmother passed away on August 11, 2020 in Cedar City Utah. Alice May Hyder was born on June 23, 1930 to Albert and Violet Lilley in Acme, Wyoming. Mickey was raised in Acme and Sheridan, WY. As a teenager she loved of her job as an usher at the WYO movie theater. Mickey would meet her husband Donald in Sheridan and they would marry in Hardin, Montana on May 24, 1947. During their marriage Mickey and Don made homes in Olympia, Washington, Covina, California, Cedar City, Utah and again in Sheridan. Mickey was proud to be from Sheridan and a Wyoming native,Mickey loved camping, fishing and playing the slots with her husband Don. She was an avid baker and known for her pies and “kisses”. Mickey loved Westerns and was an ardent fan of John Wayne. She was thrilled to find out they were distant cousins. Mickey is survived by her children, Donald (Sally), Linda Fice (Paul), Ronnie (Deborah) and Roger; 7 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren; sister Betty Snodgrass, brothers Bill Lilley and Larry Lilley; many nieces and nephews She is preceded in death by her husband Don, daughter Sarah, brothers Charles Lilley, Gerald Lilley, and sister Virginia Stevens. The family would like to thank the Brookdale Senior Living Center staff in Cedar City, Utah, for their care of our mother.Private family services will be conducted in Sheridan.
